Linley continues his long run on BBC radio Ulster with his popular Sunday midnight show, After Midnight with Linley Hamilton. Every week he plays the best in contemporary jazz and fusion, featuring the music of Kenny Garrett, Michael Brecker, Steely Dan amongst others. In addition to that he has a diary page of weekly events and an interview slot every week. Interviews to date have included Esbjorn Svensson, Walter Becher, Jim Beard, Curtis Stigers, Billy Cobham ans Stacy Kent. Linley embarks on PhD

Linley successfully negotiates his Masters from DIT Dublin in Jazz Performance with a 1st and embarks upon a PhD in Jazz Performance at the University of Ulster Magee under the research guidance of Professor Frank Lyons. He starts a University Big Band which is scheduled to lay at this year’s Derry Jazz Festival

Linley's new album Taylor Made launched!!!

The recently formed Linley Hamilton Quartet has taken to the road, touring across Ireland since the album was officially launched at JJ Smyths Dublin on Sunday 21 August to a full House. The band consists of Drummer Dominic Mullen, bassist Dan Bodwell and pianist Johnny Taylor to Linley pays the ultimate accolade by naming the album after him. Linley leads from the front on trumpet. The album is available through Amazon and iTunes by download, but a hardcopy can be purchased by contacting his Record Company website, www.lyterecords.com
