Linley continues his long run on BBC radio Ulster with his popular Sunday midnight show, After Midnight with Linley Hamilton. Every week he plays the best in contemporary jazz and fusion, featuring the music of Kenny Garrett, Michael Brecker, Steely Dan amongst others. In addition to that he has a diary page of weekly events and an interview slot every week. Interviews to date have included Esbjorn Svensson, kyle Eastwood, Clare Teal, Sonya Kitchell and cormac kenevey. New Album release imminent

Just recently Linley has combined with the talented young belfast guitarist Mark McKnight to record a debut duo album. it features standards, some well known and some a little bit obscure but the boys are happy with the sound. it shall be available for sale from this website at the start of July.
Brand New Gig Launch

The linley Hamilton Quartet has moved lock, stock and two smoking barrells to Madisons Hotel, Botanic Avenue, Belfast. Launch night is Monday 18th of June at 9pm when there will be lots of guests jumping up and joining in!

Linley and Mark McKnight relaunch thier tea - time slot, Thursday 5.30 - 7.30 at the Kitchen Bar. They will be playing a selection of music from thier new album and remeber, admission is free.
Smyth and Gibson sponsorship

It's official. Smyth and Gibson are sponsoring the damned handsome Linley Hamilton Quartet with four matching suits, shirts and ties. It is their intention to photograph the band regularly wearing the suits, and establish a poster site in their coffee shop in Bedford Street! Gee shucks ladies, make it your regular and swoon over those posters!!
New Recordings

2006 was an intresting time for Linley in the studio. He collaborated on some very enjoyable projects with people he most admires on the local scene.
In June, Linley flew to London to record a couple of tracks on a Foy Vance EP, and recorded solos on two albums being released early 2007 by ‘Spree’ and ‘Bellcrash.’ In addition to this he formed “Belfist Horns” with tenor
player David Howell, an association that hopes to write, record and tour for anyone interested in using them North of the Border. They made their first successful collaboration when writing and recording hornparts for a new album due for release by “Kyle” and have a diary already filling for 2007!!!
