Around 2000 Linley started working with Paul Brady, and as well as playing a solo on the title track of the album ‘Oh What a World’, Linley played a series of concerts in Ireland with Paul. This was to lead to further recording work such as on his ‘Paul Brady Songbook’ album and DVD and exposure on the TV series of the same name that was shown and repeated on RTE. In addition to this, Linley played on the successful single Hawanna Way and played this track with Paul and the band on Top of the Pops 2. Linley was involved subsequently with Paul’s one man show tour in Ireland in Dublin and in Belfast which featured Linley and fiddle player Kieran Tourish as
special guests.
